The gargoyles are coming!

Our next beta is close. It took longer than we expected but we wanted to have a nice solid release that you will all like. We are just a few more days away.

A few spoilers: Voms will get a tool upgrade and he will be able to access new areas. Rudy will be playable for testing. She won't change to MoGi but we will get a glimpse of her gameplay and art.
 

Also there will be 2 new MoGi! The RockGirls Stone and Gold! Gold wasn't supposed to be in the game so treat her like a treat! She seems similar but she's very different to Stone. Titan currently works through some tiny bugs and Veins is near finishing the StoneGirls' sex scenes.


The RockGirls will get you in a few days!

    2. I wish I could finish my part sooner but there is still a lot of work to do. And even if I finish all the art... there are still things to be done. Right now I want to add 2 more frames to Voms runcycle (making it smoother) and also I'm trying to make Toadstool's sex animation a bit different so that it's not identical to Amanita's. Nobody asked me to do these things but I want to, since I have finished my part for the next Beta. When Titan is done as well, we will release it.

    3. Just want to say, Victor, thank you for your hard work. I'm not really one that purchases the beta, I prefer to wait for the finished product, but that being said I really appreciate what you and Titan are doing. Game development takes time as most people on offbeatr and other various backing websites don't seem to understand.

      That being said, the fact that you guys choose to add things that the backers don't ask for, while it may delay development time, is a bonus that makes the game that much more worth the wait. That being said, again I just want to thank you guys for the hard work and keep it up. I wish you all the best and can't wait for the release.

  11. I've seen monster girls in most eroge rape men for power and for pleasure; but its a little hard to distinguish that in MoGi Origins. Not to sound like that guy who questions hentai logic XD, but why do the MoGi rape the men to begin with, from what I've seen they enjoy the sex from the pleasure filled looks after the cumming; but is that like a source of power for them or were they just programmed to do so? Also from what I recall there was note on how the MoGi girls paralyze the men after they cum, by this logic how come the hostages can get up just fine but Voms gets basically screwed over ? :P

    Again not that I don't like it , the scenes are hot and i love monster girls, but most games I've seen usually have a little background as to why the girls rape the men to begin with. In Monster Girl Quest, most of the time its usually because men are food. In Eroico, while nothing is said; its clear the girls want to keep the man as a mate (or at least thats what it looks like given the hearts and their smiling and kissing lol)

    Also just as a suggestion, and everyone may not agree with me when I say this. But I would be curious as to hear about what would happen to Voms after he loses to a MoGi; in other words if he loses the sex mini game and cums to the MoGi, maybe there's like a little text or picture that shows/tells what that MoGi does to him for the duration of the crisis like making him a sex slave or mate. It sounds a little cheap considering how thats pretty much all the hostage rapes ( a constant loop of endless rape) but in my opinion that would make sex scenes a little more saucier and maybe even add a little character to the MoGi on terms of their behavior. Plus it would give that feeling of," Oh im a plaything of Medusa cause I lost to her, or I'm amanita's mate underground now" sort of story ending because you did that. But again that's just my personal suggestion; a little game over text or pic showing that. Plus I understand you guys are already doing a crap ton of work to begin with so feel free to ignore me xD.

    But keep up the good work guys! You're doing a fantastic job, and cannot wait for the stone girls!

    2. Oh a long message, I love those!

      First of all thanks for taking the time to write it and thanks for throwing ideas and also for trying to find holes in the concept and the story. Challenge accepted!

      ((Warning, spoilers and personal opinions ahead))

      We do want each MoGi to have a character and not be "just another enemy". That was our intention from the start. Having some kind of text after Voms' is defeated was mentioned a while ago but we rejected that idea. I personally find the text to be annoying, but Titan rejected this idea as well. I think you would need to finish the game to understand what could happen or would have happened to Voms after a sex scene. Other than that, what might happen is open to interpretation. Use your imagination! Sometimes it's better that throwing it at you face like "this happens"! Because you might not like our version. For example if you are into vore, just say "...and Voms was eaten alive!" But we won't have vore, so that might disappoint you.

      Now about the story... here is the tricky part. Me and Titan might not always agree 100% on a few details. In "why do the MoGi rape the men"... let's just say that I got my theory and Titan has his own. Because of this minor disagreement we might leave the story a bit vague. Titan is making Voms' story and dialogues and I will make the rest of the characters. But all these characters still play in the same world and they interact with each other. So yeah it's tricky. I suspect that Titan will add his more spiritual explanations in his story and i will provide the more pseudo-scientific parts of the story. In the end it would be up to the player to accept either theory, or even both. It might be up to the character as well... Voms can talk and reason with MoGi where Rudy for example is looking for explanations and evidence.

      My take in the story is rather simple: The MoGi in general they act like animals, they basically want to mate and reproduce so that their species will survive. Now if someone wants to think that "MoGi drink cum for power and keep humans as pet-slaves" it doesn't conflict much with my version. We will see how the story unfolds. There are many more questions to be answered in the story, like how smart are they, can they all talk, do they die, do they have a soul, why they were created, etc.

      Now about Voms and the Hostage Rapes... you almost got me there! Again, me and Titan might have different opinion about what causes Voms to lose and that is why we leave it vague as well. Someone that has played other monster girl games may say "they drained his energy" or something magical and spiritual like that. In my mind Voms was exhausted and fainted so he didn't have the time to do what he was supposed to do. Also, for me, the difference between Voms and the HR is that the guys in the HR are not beaten as badly as Voms and that also they won't last for much longer in their state.

      Most of these things may or may not be explained in the game. You play as Voms, and I think Voms doesn't care much about why stuff happens. He just want to fix things. Rudy will most likely try to find out why things happen, so I may be able to sneak my ideas in her story.

      I absolutely don't want to spoil anything, and actually I wasn't actively looking for the holes and stuff, this was just stuff I thought about in context. It was a moment of," The HR scenes are good....but didn't someone say something about-." You know ? xD But i'm glad to hear that in the end, it really comes down to what we believe, and that's what I like about you guys: you let us in on some of the details, maybe even a preview, but all in all the actuality of it is never spoiled.

      As another prime suggestion, and forgive me if I haven't been paying too close attention to the plot so far or other people's comments if it's already been suggested xD..

      I understand that the different characters will cross over and meet each other at some point of this game, which is so cool! Obviously each character will have something different to say and interact with one another in some way than most. Is it strictly just dialogue? What about during a mission for example say, maybe Ucogi and Voms meet each other and suddenly get surrounded by MoGi; so it turns into a survival situation where both characters now have to fight side by side for maybe a minute before they escape the area and the story continues . Although I can see that being a lot of extra work xD, so feel free to ignore me again.

    5. What Voms does with Oak or other MoGi... that remains to be seen.

      The character will do more that dialogue. They will swap info, items and help each other. We don't have a clear idea of how some bosses will play out but I have a few ideas where the characters may co-operate.

      I do like your idea of Ucogi fighting alongside Voms in a mini survival mission. I will have it in mind and it might be possible to have it because it is based on 2 ideas that we already plan. Of course I will have to discuss it with Titan. If you see it in the game it would be because of you! ;)

I tend to come from the "rough" corner of the monster-girl rape department where losing tends to have more dangerous and/or potentially fatal consequences - whether it be death by exhaustion (snoo-snoo) or having energy drained like some sort of succubus effect. Really there's a couple different ways to go about that, and then there's the "softer" aspects of being kept as a sex slave or something.

      As for the hostage rapes, note that while the hostages can usually last for a little while of fun, they're not actively able to escape on their own. They need outside help. If you go with the paralysis on ejaculation route, then if the MoGi is removed the paralysis effect could resolve fairly quickly allowing for the hostages to move after being rescued. I just assume that once Voms succumbs, there's no one else left running around to rescue him so he's left completely at the MoGi's mercy.

      Though, that brings up an interesting idea. On game over, or perhaps special "do not continue" game-over, make the rape scene repeating so he gets the full again and again treatment like the hostages. Hopefully that won't be too much work.

      Indeed Voms can become just another rape victim of the current MoGi and what i like most about this, is that you lose control of Voms and you actually control the girl who dominates Voms, since you decide as her, to repeat the rape or not!

    8. Thinking more about it... the scene would have to loop but the cum would be magically gone. So we would have to ignore the fact that there was cum on voms or the MoGi, or add a new sex scene identical to the old one with cum on them.

      You see.... even if an idea sounds simple enough to make, there are always side effects that we have to consider.

That does sound pretty cool in context, as it would add that to that game over quite nicely :P However you are right, if Voms cums you can't exactly ignore the fact he came inside/on them to begin with and make the scene loop all over again since there has to be some logic to that. Drawing up a new hentai scene would be hot and only appears should you decide if you continue to let the MoGi rape Voms to begin with, but that would mean every mogi up to this point including the future would have to add another hentai scene and thats more work than whats already being thrown together. The idea does sound nice but thats really up to you guys whether to throw it in or not :P Should it be thrown together in the game I think as a nice touch if you let the MoGi rape Voms and continue to do so, maybe there's like a quick switch to the background and he's naked to show that he's been having fun for a while now haha -Game Over naughty-

    10. Well yeah, there are 2 ways to address this. We either ignore the fact that there was cum on the character and loop the same animation (which also breaks some of the consistency) or we need to add cum on top of the old video which also might need the in-between frames from cum scene to looping sex scene.

      Making the in-between frames it can be a lot of extra work but all that extra work can be avoided by a simple white transition.

      We will talk about it internally and see what happens. It is a neat idea but we might avoid it for all the above reasons.

Just... ignoring effort required for a moment, the first cum scene sorta continues the way it is now with the Mogi mounted triumphantly ontop for the Y/N continue. Then if you pick no it does a fade to white, then back to the looping version with Voms naked.

      Then reality hits and that would take way too much work. I know, but its still fun to dream.

To be honest I guess it doesn't xD but it sort of adds that impression of "you lost, now look what happened to Voms; he's one of the hostages now" kind of feeling which is kind of what games like MGQ and Eroico gave off when the protagonists lost. The gallery mode, true the sex scene loops, but... its the gallery xD of course all the sex scenes loop but during the actual gameplay it gives off that feeling/emotion. That's usually what I see in a lot of monster girl based games with a male protagonist; the male loses, he becomes just another victim of the crisis. At least that's what I was going for. But you don't need someone who doesn't know the first thing about making games telling you what to add Victor :P. MoGi is on a rail for greatness and I don't want to change the game the way you guys designed it for the scenes are hot the way they are, I just thought a little addition might make that game over screen a little more visual.

    15. We dont mind hearing opinions and ideas. Sometimes we do implement these things in the game. We like to think that MoGi Origins is different than other monster-girl games... For me, when Voms loses then he loses completely. He loses consciousness so nothing else matters to him at that point. He faints. Now, if he becomes a slave, that is up for the player to decide. But the sex part comes with the mini-game and having a MoGi humping Voms could also imply that Voms has a chance to escape again until he cums over and over and over. So we might have to avoid that in the game after all.

      The update... I have 1 more small animation to complete and I just found out that I don't have to do anything else (I almost thought that I had to design a new MoGi). Titan needs to add a few things and do some tests. I hope he wont take too long! :P

    16. I've always had a mixed opinion about galleries. It's very very nice to be able to go back and see the scenes, so I'm not trying to say galleries shouldn't exist. It's just, galleries lose the context of the "struggle" that's present in the game. Looping in a do-not-continue game over would really drive home the magnitude of defeat. If it were just in the gallery, it would feel more consensual rather than GoR.

      Once again, its just an idea and the reasoning behind it. It's not intended to be a serious or bothersome "OMG DO THIS" so don't feel obligated to take it seriously. Just a topic of discussion to help pass the time.

      Since you only unlock the scene once you see it in the game, when you see it in the gallery, the context's partially there since you experienced it.

      Kind of like other VNs where you remember what it was like getting to the scene just by seeing the CG.

  12. I love the ideas and energy, I do wonder though, given the memory problems and things being slower on the programming end is the project still sustainable with only 2 awesome folks with limited incomes?

    Obviously there is a lot us supporters don't know despite your wonderful efforts to be transparent (thank you by the way), so please don't take this as I too want to see the project flourish. That said, I'm always afraid of the next Duke Nukem Forever or MGQ Hero; though who is to say maybe this will be the next MGQ Paradox. ;-)

    I just want to make sure it doesn't turn fall into the pithole that consumed Duke Nukem Forever or MGQ Hero.

      I really hope it wont come to that. Actually "that" is not an option. For both me and Titan is Do or Die. If we do it, it is going to be awesome and perhaps more games will be made. If we don't do it... we would need to find a good hiding place from every pledger on Earth! We won't be able to appear online and we would be humiliated and never be trusted again. And we would have to find boring jobs. And Ucogi will cry alone at nights. Is that transparent enough? T_T

      I imagine Voms would be a cisgender male, preferring to take on androgynous gender roles, with a predoliction for acting on traditional female sexual schemas with a predominately straight sexual preference and history. I'm sure we can make this even more specific!

  15. Slow night tonight... we keep on adding stuff to the game because we want to have a big new Beta release. I did a few changes to Amanita's and Toadstool's sex animation so that they would be a bit different from each other. We also try to add Rudy, so that she can be play-tested. It feels like this will be the last beta of the year.

Can't say I blame you Victor its been awhile but things like this aren't pitch perfect and aren't made in a day; think if we swapped places with you, we can't spend every hour and living fabric to build something like this. It takes time and patience, an update every now and then is good; a beta can wait. If this is the last beta of the year no worries were not pressuring you. Keep doing what your doing, release what you can, hopefully really quick here :P and take some vacation time for yourselves, you both earned a rest.

  16. There's also been one question that peaked my interest in seeing the future characters. While we still have a great road ahead in this game, I'm curious as to ask about Vor, the big guy XD. I read awhile ago in the Offbeatr that him, Voms, and Rudy will have the sex scenes. I don't wanna make you guys spoil anything, but I am curious as to ask will the sex scenes be different with each character. Like Pumpkin I know rides Voms, but will there be any different variation for Vor because he's bigger and tougher and has a bigger body frame? Just thinking about each character in context is all

    1. Vor is different than Voms in many ways. Vor will most likely have male-dominant sex scenes and he might only have such scenes with the Queen MoGi, and not with low level enemies such as Pumpkin. So yeah his sex scenes will be completely different. Vor is still under discussion. We will know more about him when we are closer to adding him in the game. One thing is for sure: we do want him to be unique, like every other playable char in the game.

    1. Yeah I know, I got the same feeling as well. In this update Voms won't go far into the island because Titan was working on perfecting the city. But we will see 2 new mogi and their sex scenes. We will learn a bit more about the story and I'm happy that Toadstool will have a slightly different animation than Amanita.

      I did draw all these things but we still need to wait for Titan to add them into the game. I work on other things in the main time, such as the soldiers that we will see later on.

      We had a discussion about a Queen appearance but that would be added in the future. I'm glad we wont add a Queen now, because it would take more time. But come to think of it, half of the work could be considered irrelevant, because Toadstool and Gold weren't supposed to be in the game at all, and they are a huge part of this new update. In the future we would try to add more relevant things into the game and expand the map further.

      Also retard question XD, but what exactly makes a Queen MoGi.....well a Queen? Appearances are usually pretty obvious lol, but looking at Oak I'm thinking "Aren't there other types of trees as well? Like Pine, Ebony (MoGi Origins 2 confirmed lawl)... The point is, are they called Queens because they are the sole member of their type? there's only one Oak and only one Fairy Queen, etc.

    3. I just asked Titan if we can release it on Monday... if he says yes then I need to finish my animation before then. He has a lot to do. I'm responsible for making the game look good, but my animations would mean nothing if the programming is bad. Titan is the one who actually gives life and soul to the game. So he needs time to do it properly.

      There isn't a set number of MoGi. There might as well be just 1 Oak and many many other plantgirls. We don't really know that at the moment, so that is a good question. The way we treat the Queens right now appears to be that way, because Queens don't seem to have other clones, such as the normal MoGi. So you might be on to something there!

      In MoGi cardfight (the cardgame), every MoGi appears just once (or more times if the deck is shuffled or if you buy more decks) and any MoGi can become Queen. The Queens we chose for MoGi Origins are mostly level 4 and 5 MoGi, which are the strongest. I think only Queen Succubus is as low as level 3 but she became a Queen due to popular demand.

      Now, for MoGi Origins, we try to tell a story, so we have picked which MoGi will be Queens. Oak appears to be queen of the plantgirls, or at least Leshy helps her our. I suppose that every MoGi can become a Queen if she has a following of other MoGi. But for this game here, we picked the bigger MoGi and gave them a story, because they would make some good boss fights.

      Nobody can say with certainty that smaller MoGi never became Queens if there wasn't someone around to witness it! And as a matter of fact, we might have smaller MoGI Queens for Chibi :P

    6. Titan told me that we will release the new beta "before Christmas". Rudy will also be added. II insisted that we add a couple more areas so that we explore a bit more of the island... new MoGi without a few new areas is boring, right?

      In the main time I will be revamping Voms run-cycle and prepare the ground for a new Queen. We will witness a glimpse of her in the new beta.

  18. Hey Victor! Just wanted to say good work man, sadly I had a weekend issue and now my laptop needs to get repaired so kinda using an Apple (bleh) q.q. So I won't be around probably when the new beta first comes out unless by some miracle you guys support a mac lol, but regardless keep doing what you do and I'll be excited to play it when I return :P.

    1. Aww.. sorry to hear that. Unfortunately we don't have an Apple version for MoGi Origins. If I'm not mistaken, in order to make the game for Mac we would need the Mac version of GM and also a Mac to compile the game. That would cost a lot, and the Mac users aren't famous for playing many games because Macs don't have many games.

      I also have a suggestion although this would come across as extremely exotic maybe even strange.

      Obviously the MoGi are enemies in this game that couldn't be more obvious lol. But an interesting thing, at least from Vom's side of the story is potential MoGi allies. I remember there was topics on this of having a MoGi partner and it was thrown out but I kinda had the idea of like a mini mission.

      In a sense Voms reminds me of Luka in someway from MGQ, except smarter and doesn't die lawl. He isn't out to kill the MoGi and some kindness comes when he spares Oak. I think as an interesting thing maybe for future development would be if Voms has to help a couple of MoGi who are only trying to peacefully live in an area fight off some aggressive MoGi who come to harrass them and humans. The Peace MoGi would assist and attack the aggressive ones helping Voms. That would be interesting to see as it could be war not just between MoGi and humans but sister against sister in a way.     3. The idea definitely sounds nice. I for one really like the idea of saving MoGi and having MoGi allies, but I can't, in good conscious, say I want to include it in MoGi origins.

      The reason being is that the game is a platform game, and I'm the type of developer that likes having as much control over the game difficulty as I can.

      Also, I'm glad that Voms reminds you of Luca. I really liked Luca's character in MGQ. Voms is a little different though. He's not trying to chase ideals or trying to fit himself into a hero's stereotype or anything grand. He's just really socially competent, as you'll see in the next beta hopefully, and would rather talk things out over fighting. He's also kind of lazy.

    4. Haha that's a given, also unlike Luca, he doesn't just roll over and lose when he gets raped, he has a chance to get up and keep going (with a stiffy thats for sure :P). I guess I can see why MoGi allies would be hard because it is a platformer not necessarily an exploration Dragon Age type game so putting features like that would be cool, but might get out of hand so understandable.

      Maybe in another MoGi game there can be more fleshed out features and stuff :D. But thats way into the future keep doing the hard work Titan!

    5. I do love the idea of Mogi Allies. Such allies may happen one way or another in the story. This will be mostly shown in Alice's playthrough. Now this might not be part of the action but it is a story opportunity that I want to explore.

  19. First of all, I must say a huge BRAVO to all the developers! This project you're making is truly amazing; the beta is already awesome, and we just can't wait for the finished version to be released!

    That said, I would like to ask five questions/suggestions:

    1) Is there a list of all the sex scenes and finishing moves of the Mogis to make Voms cum?

    So far everything I've seen was vaginal sex. The animations are awesome, and it's a pleasure to watch; but I'm a million times more into blowjobs and oral sex. Thus, I was wondering if (and how much) oral sex could expected to happen to *poor* Voms, and if there are variations on the orgasms finishing (i.e.: various depths for ejaculating in the mouth, handjob on the face or – that would be so awesome!– by being licked constantly on the sensitive spot underneath the glans).

    For… … research purposes, of course… it's not like I'm going to actively search for those specific Mogis and … “forget” to fight back…

    2) I believe I saw comments to that effect earlier on – on the possibility to make Voms cum more than once after losing to a Mogi; that would be very -very- nice to watch. I would humbly like to suggest as follows:

    - After Voms came the first time, you lose, game over on the “platform” aspect; but you could remain in the sex scene to watch Voms cum again and again; new cumshots happening at regular intervals (i.e.: 5 seconds after the end of the previous cumshot) or “on demand” with a clickable button for the player to trigger the animation

    - After the first cumshot, how to deal with the cum already splattering the Mogi for the other animations ? I see two possibilities: first, you could have the cum “slide off” (or swallowed – so it “naturally” goes away; I would advise against an artificial fade-out) so Voms will always ejaculate on a “clean” Mogi – or you could edit a new animation loop, with the Mogi already covered with Vom's cum from the first cumshot (that would be the best option IMHO, but I do realize it's more complex).

    3) Could it be feasible to add variations to Vom's cumshots from the same Mogi ? The Mogi animation needs not to change, but you could have a few differents ways Voms could cum (i.e.: shapes and numbers of cumshots; where it lands, etc..) - that would increase the variety factor of the animations by a lot.

    4) ^^ When can we hope to see the final completed version ? I'm dying to play the full game!

    5) Do you still take special pledges including sex scene choices or are they closed now ?

    ... And, all in all, THANK YOU for your efforts and your amazing game! :D

    1. The pleadge are closed, they only give acces to beta or the digital mega pack, adding more MoGi and scene would make too much work, and for the same reason, I doubt they can make the variation you speak of, even if it seem little, everything ask some more work of them.

      However, if you like to see Voms being raped, you can still look the gallery :)

  20. I think there's a decent variety of sex scenes scheduled. Also, I have trouble telling whether Amanita's is supposed to be vaginal or anal.

    As for the looping sex scenes, there was a discussion about that a little bit earlier. It would be nice, but extremely labor intensive to implement.

    2. Most of the scenes we made were chosen by pledgers. We have kept a few mogi on the side, such as the queens, to balance things out. So, if the game doesnt have enough oral sex, we will add more of it.

    1. We have added many more things than just the 2 RockGirls. We are struggling to release the new beta before xmas. Here is why:

      Titan just showed me Rudy and I had to correct her running animation because I wasn't pleased with it in the game. Also I changed Voms running animation and it appeared to be slow, so Titan will try to make it appear faster. Titan also completed the entire map engine. We also want to add a couple new areas so that the new MoGi will have a place to be. Toadstool will have some new features and also I'm designing a new Queen while calculating what may happen in the next Queen battle. And I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of other stuff that we did. So yeah.. pls be patient.

    An idea came to mind about further classifying the MoGi. Obviously you guys may have your own method and already have decided what MoGi will do what; but this is just my personal reference to help remember what each MoGi can do and how they'll effect the level and battle.

    Why not classify MoGi into 3 different classes like Huntresses, Sentinels, and Strikers?

    Huntress: Either Aerial or extremely fast MoGi that can maneuver around quickly and bypass a lot of obstacles to reach victims

    Sentinels: Defensive MoGi, slow or not moving at all and have an ability to help protect themselves or fellow MoGi from harm

    Strikers: Tough MoGi who focus on combat and can dish out decent harm or combos while taking equal punishment

    I mean the RPG geek inside me sort of comes out when I say this stuff xD But looking closer at the MoGi it sort of makes sense, Amanita and Toadstool seem like sentinels in the sense they have ranged attacks and when Voms gets too close they burrow underneath to protect themselves.

    Squirrel is like a huntress since she runs very very fast but dies in one hit.

    I figured it can help but idk I think you guys got it all worked out lol. But for future reference if you guys ever sit around and wonder something like," What kind of fighter will Cactus or Red Slime be?" Well, you got a preference of 3 classes at least. Because from there who knows Cactus could be a frontline fighter, maybe she hurls crap lol or has a defensive prick body attack.

    Hopefully thats some use can't wait for the new beta guys :D

      There are quite a few ways to classify the MoGi.

      One is by family name (there are 5 families-types).

      Another is their level (they got 5 levels but that is better shown in the card game).

      Another classification which resembles your way of thinking. We classify them in 3 range types according to their attacks: Short, mid and long range.

      And there is one more classification: easy, medium and hard to beat! Which is pretty much similar to their 5 levels.

      Of course.. why not classify them according to their sexual mood? Oral, vaginal and anal! xD

      One interesting thing I'm curious to find out is, in a family type do all the MoGi in that family receive some sort of unique ability regarding their family. I've noticed most of the plant girls, Oak, Amanita, etc. use their natural plant instincts to defend themselves. Amanita burrows, Oak uses her branches to block hits, pumpkin in general is tough.

      I've seen a similiar patterns in Neko and Squirrel being beast, they sort of, predict your movement patterns, so do beast type MoGi get that unique family ability of, predicting, your actions?

      You can just say we have to find that out ourselves or it'll be revealed in the game xD But that's one thing I've been curious about.

    3. Hmmm.. I'm not sure of what do you mean. Each MoGi is unique and their powers are unique and fitting to each MoGi's nature. Squirrelgirl can run, but a Plantgirl MoGi is a plant so it won't make much sense to run.

      In MoGi Cardfight all the MoGi have unique abilities. No 2 MoGi have the same powers. These traits are converted into the videogame, taking a few liberties of course.

      Now if they are predicting actions... that's the programming aspect of the game and I'm not sure of how they act. I've let Titan deal with them entirely. Knowing how they act is like cheating on how to beat them and spoils the fun! I dont think squirrel predicts actions but Neko and maybe Naiad and Stone does.

    1. Welcome to the development department. Now you know why people rarely if ever set deadlines for themselves. Coding games is difficult and messy. Last minute bugs always seem to pop up, no matter how solid your coding skills, and the fact that this is a 2 man team only delays their efforts innately to begin with.

      Just be patient. They're still communicating so it's not like the game is going anywhere.

    3. Hey I'm awake! I finished the stuff Titan wanted me to finish. Titan wanted to release right away but I told him not to, until we test it a bit first.

      So, Titan went to bed and I started playing this final version and I found a couple of glitches. Voms cant kill the HR and I cant find something that will help me go further into the game! I assume that these are minor things to fix, but it seems that it will take another day until the new Beta release.

    This is like a training... a common project.... u cant stay between years doing so little,,,
    Only one answer.... first intention? MAKE MONEY and thats the main problem.
    When you do a game like this, u should put efforts, trying to do the best, not only for money, but for passion, like Decker says, and i cant see that in our developers.

    1. There are some pretty amazing developers out there, if projects like this can be considered common projects/training.

      What do you mean by just sketches?

      It hurts that we're being called passionless. Communications are always open between us and our fans/critics and everyone in-between. We react to fan suggestions and truly do enjoy making this.

      We may not be the best at due dates, but everyone who consistently visits our site has faith that the game will be made.

      Maybe these kinds of comments are just the side-effect of us being transparent though I hope that's not the case.

I don't find the last Pink Slime hostage and the last Orc Girl hostage, can you give me a clue ? And in the last area before the big red slime, I can't elevate the platform (the one with the red orb with the number 3). I impatiently waited for the upcoming beta (and sorry if my english is bad)

    1. I dont know where the HR are, they can be anywhere. These HR are the last for you but you may have missed an early HR and the gane is not very linear.

      That lift doesnt work right now because its special. Voms need tool#3 which will get later.
