Party like a RockGirl! (Beta v1.17)


To get the new Beta, use the link you received upon purchase. If you played the game
before, it needs to be restarted in order to play correctly some essential additions.
But now, you can play most of the game as Rudy!


What's New? (V1.17)
  • Rudy is playable! (press C+R to switch with Voms. Beware of small glitches)
  • 2 new Mogi! (RockGirls Stone and Gold)
  • Toadstool got new attacks and cum scene! (she is no longer an Amanita clone)
  • Voms gets his first upgrade/new move! (Ground Smash)
  • A new area is added, the Tunnels!
  • New music in the Farms!

Other changes include: 
  • A new map system - press Enter to view the map (Do not delete map.ini)
  • The city had a few major fixes (more to come!)
  • Voms' Orbs have changed fundamentally.
  • Updated running animation for Voms. 
  • Some new NPCs and conversations.
  • Enemy AI made slightly different.

In this Beta it was just going to be Stone, Gold and the Tunnels. But we ended up adding a few more things into the mix: Voms' new move can be combined with kicks or used to trick Nekos or beat multiple MoGi at the same time! Rudy's roll (press down as you run forward) makes her invisible for a bit and can be useful against Amanita's! Toadstool and Gold are extra MoGi, not supposed to be in the game but we even added new sex scenes for them! There's also a small surprise added... find it just before the end of this Beta!

  2. Unfortunatly, I still have that video error 13 I had previewsly with Pumpkin rape scene and with Neko and Squirrel hostage rape scene on my win 10 pc, but that error is not on the other computers, I still wonder if it's something about the game or if it's something on my end.

    1. It's most likely not your fault. That error might just be happening on high-end computers because of some multi-threading issues related to the video plugin.

      It's not an easy fix, but I'm not as in the dark about the problem now as I was before. I'm on the case, and will update the game and demo as soon as it's fixed.

    2. The game can still be played with that error on SFW mode (since it only affects the video plugin), though I doubt anyone would want to try XD.

    3. little addition, Neko and Squirrel hostage rape work well in the game, it just don't work in the gallery, so I guess the problem come from the player, hope it help

    1. 1) I'll look into it.

      2) Usually when it comes to games like this people find FOO strategies and just keep going with it. We've already had complaints about difficulty at this mild level gameplay so we're trying to keep things simple.

      Right now, you can use the ground smash to clear enemies around you. If you're getting ganged up on it's a good move. It does more damage and reaches out farther if you do it from a higher location too, so it's a good move against the projectile plant monsters too, but you wont NEED to use the move therefore it doesn't feel like a big addition. Also you've used it a handful of times already. I think that makes it worth it.

      3)Well that got spoiled quick. We didn't make a big deal out of it because we didn't want to give anyone any expectations.
      I just hope Voms's character is shining through to some people.

      4)November and December are hard months to work, especially when family and other responsibilities get in the way. I know that to you, as a player you don't feel much about a new map system, more audio or an upgrade system for Voms's tool, but while they're instant changes in the game, it takes a while to make design changes to the game and implement them like we did. Glad you at least enjoyed Stone and Gold. Sad you haven't tried out Rudy though.

    2. Oh no I have tried out Rudy as mentioned above lol! She's great on terms of combat but as you guys designed her she has lower health and can't maneuver around as much just like you said. That's a given, also sorry for spoiling the whole red slime I didn't think about it lawl. And absolutely I love how Voms is getting developed in a sense he's just trying to help and get along with the MoGi whilst trying to defuse the situation.

      I certainly appreciate the effort you went through to put in those maps and changes; with all the hype that was being built up though I just thought maybe we'd see an additional thing or two.

    6. Haha sorry victor, my review got kind of out of hand and spoiled something and personally I thought I kind of went overboard so I took care of it q.q but here I'll make a more simplified version for you and one I wont feel bad about :P

      I said that I loved the new beta you guys created, Rudy and the new MoGi are fantastic additions. The scenes are very hot and very creative :) Rudy is also very good in the combat sense, while true she lacks in the health and navigation department I'd rather have her in a lot of situations regarding the MoGi than Voms. I liked the new upgrade wrench thing but I felt like that would be trouble for future updates at least in my opinion, because what if the next upgrade is not explained in the next location? What if I saved and gotten all the HR, and progress only to be stopped by a door because I didn't have a level 3 wrench... Now I gotta go find it q.q.. I explained to Titan a glitch that happened in the basement where you get stuck between a wall and barrel when you pull it toward a wall too far so Voms basically dies being stuck instead of a MoGi attack xD.

      I also figured out that there's a limit to what you can type so I'll explain the rest in another comment xD

One thing I found funny but sexy at the same time was Stone, I think personally she's my favorite MoGi so far in the beta :P but I love how her face is like an open goofy smile with 4 fangs kind of giving off that childish playful feeling, but when the rape comes she basically turns all sexy and is like," Yup we doin this now >:3" even the cum animation kind of gave her toothy smile very cute very sexy win-win. Very nicely done on Toadstool's animation as well I like the new finish Victor :D

    8. Im really glad you like this beta and that we had no complains and that pretty much everyone is pleased.

      Dont worry about Voms upgrades. Everything should be explained in the game and even if its not, we are here to correct things. It goes without saying that the player has to find the item that will unlock the next door. Thats part of the level design. And if you get lost a bit... thats part of the exploration!

Just one thing I would throw out, why not give us a weekly update of what you guys are working on :P Each week tell us "Hey the new beta is going swell we're doing a couple of maps and tests blah blah blah see you next week" I feel honestly that would keep a lot of people or at least the impatient ones in check. I understand a lot of people here have made it a point that this took a long time to come out and so much was promised but at the same rate you know if they feel you guys aren't doing a good job why don't THEY step up and do it themselves? If they can make MoGi Origins faster and just as good please be inclined to do so. Encourage our developers don't hassle them. If honestly I didn't feel you guys were good developers I never would have paid for the beta access to begin with and wouldn't be writing reviews.

    1. Our transparency in the comments is what led to some uncontrollable expectations. To be honest, I don't want to force myself to write just so something is said about the progress of the game.

      Also, our blog really looks pretty with each and every post being a thoughtful meaningful post about actual progress the game is making.

It's just a little frustrating how some gamers will treat developers, your only two guys splitting the work and some people don't seem to acknowledge that and demand the latest thing like they're on a silver platter. If you paid for beta access you'll get the beta access you just gotta be patient!

      Also Titan I wanted to apologize if I upset you in my first review <_< I feel like I made you think I under-appreciate the skills you had and spoiled something major. I didn't honestly know I wasn't supposed to spoil that I'm sorry and I certainly understand family and work can hinder game development I would never force you guys to go above and beyond to add a few extra changes for the sake of short term enjoyment

    5. Well on the note of information lol to change the subject, I recall there was a map feature in previous beta but I wasn't sure how the hell to turn that on, is there a button to trigger that? Also how exactly does the map work? I recall there were platform that told you where you were like a high platform indicating right and bottom indicating left... Unless Im screwing that information too lol

    8. Regarding posting on a weekly basis... Last time i tried to post my progress it was when i finished Rudy. And someone commented on how Rudy is irrelevant to tbe progress and suggested that we should work on other stuff. And Id rather avoid such discussions since they are unproductive.

      Some anon was complaining about us saying ''we said a few days regarding the RockGirls and it took 2 months'' but in the end, the delay was nessessary to ensure the quality and quantity of this beta. A day later we released the beta. That guy didnt comment on that aspect of our progress so his intentions were probably malicious.

      The map is separated in areas. Voms appears in the yellow area. The map is pseudo-top-down and the green line of each area represents the ground.

  7. A couple of general questions a friend of mine asked:
    1) Between Offbeatr, this blog, and Ucogi.com what place is the most reliable for news and information about this game?
    2) Do you guys have like a FAQ section?
    3) All MoGi are unique and have different skills but will there be MoGi who use grapple attacks? Like say Alraune for example uses vines underneath the ground to grab Voms and it instantly leads to the rape scene regardless of his health.

    1. 1)Offbeatr shows all we promised to do but it never updates. Ucogi.com has a lot of info gathered in 1 page but doesnt update so often. This blog has the most up-to-date info. There is also ucogi-forum.com that also has some interesting background info but it hasnt been updated in a bit.

      2)In Offbeatr we have a FAQ.

      3) No grapple attacks in our design yet but we just might add one later on. I have something in mind but I have to talk to Titan about it, see if its possible and not time consuming. Good idea that or Alraune ;)

      I feel that grapples might add to the variety of attacks rather than just punches, spears and rocks. I mean I know each MoGi is unique and has a different ability; like it seriously frightened me that Naiad threw rocks and was fast with a spear. I think it would step up the playing field a bit and you'd have to develop new tactics and what not instead of just wrenching everyone you saw.

      Also speaking of new stuff I had an idea for a wrench upgrade level 3-4 for Voms. Why not one of his abilities be like a short-medium range electric blast from his wrench that can hit in a straight line and pierce multiple MoGi at once. To be honest I wouldn't know the damage ratio for that but it would give Voms more chance to fight MoGi because he has some of a ranged attack which is really his only lacking department but all characters have a weakness so I'll leave it at that :P

    3. Voms having an electric charge... I proposed that same idea to Titan a few months ago but in the end we rejected it. We have something else planned for Voms next move. At this point I want to remind everyone that these few additional moves are something extra we do to please those who thought and complained that Voms is lame and slow at fighting.

  8. Well, those were nice additions to the game, made the whole game again and didn't found bugs except the video player bug I told you earlier.

    I played mostly with Rudy to try her, yet had to switch to Vom to deal with stuff she can't do or deal with situations where he is better than her, like having enemy upside or downside of her, multiple enemy seem to be her weakness since she can only hit 1 enemy at the time and has a slow fire rate, which is a good thing, like this she doesn't seem overpowered compared to Vom.

    Stone and Gold are interesting additions, I really like how stone is made, her attack looks like pumplin but it's really different, she is less agressive and I find that more dangerous in a way because she is less predictable, it's even more true when there is many enemy, also she has a better attack range, but I like it that way, gold is ok as long as you can avoid her attack, also I like the rape scene and the way they both hold Vom, good job on that :)

    I liked the new way the city and story was made, with each beta you can see the game take shape, and it's nice, keep up the good work Team Erogi :D

    Those were really rock solid additions, and I can't wait to see the game turn gold ... :p

      I'm glad you like this Beta and Rudy. Rudy also has a knee attack that we didnt add due to deadline limitations.

      And yeah, some people may complain that they need to restart the game for the effects to take place but at least now they can play as Rudy in most of the way :)

    2. I agree, but that may be hard to program and implement since that could screw around with the coding possibly. Plus not only that we would be getting a shorter beta if we only played the new levels and saw the new girls xD. As much as I'd rather not have to navigate around over and over again for each new beta... That's the fun in this game it made it feel like I worked really hard to get to see Gold and Stone :P. By the end of the beta I was like," Totally worth replaying again." Good job guys :D

I made the game again to see some stuff, and I was thinking about the dialogue with the guy at the hospital it is a bit strange, I mean, Vom say that normal MoGi don't speak, and queen yes, how does is know that ? he hasn't tried to speak to a normal MoGi and at that point, he has only meet one queen and she is the only one he has talked with, so how does he know there are other queens and they speak too ? And how does he know the concept of queen ? at that point oak could be an unique specimen, and how does he know they are called MoGi ? I think there should be a bit more of events that would answer those questions before Vom can even mention all of this, I mean, even if Vom is the one to think that those monster girls should be called MoGi, at least there should be a scene where he think about it, since the story is important for me, I want to help by pointing this out :)

    Also, I found a bit akward the way Red turn, I know she is fare from finished, but I thought it would be cool if there was a little animation when she turn around instead of a simple image flip

    1. That actually does raise a fair point, why the Queens talk and none of the normal MoGi do. Maybe it'll be explained further into the beta but a working theory for now is because while the Queens are still MoGi they nearly as overboard as their fellow MoGi meaning they don't rape the first man they see instead they kind of observe and give them a chance to explain before they do whatever; of course Oak still attacked Voms because she didn't believe him (poor bad luck im assuming :P he's got Luka levels of luck) but (Insert the name of the MoGi that appeared at the end >.>) I think sort of "sensed" Voms was telling the truth, she may not like him but she gave Voms a chance to try and do what she asked him to do

      As to the concept of Queen. Well he met Oak, and she's bigger and can talk so he came up with it on the spot.

      I think the whole MoGi thing came from an unimportant NPC, though I don't remember where. That's a good point.

Well, I don't say he has to have a cutscene for every MoGi he meet, but that could be interesting to have a cutscene with the first MoGi he see, where he does try to talk first, and has to kill her in self defence, why not with the Pumpkin that attack the farmer ? But maybe I'm being a bit carried away here, actualy that idea never crossed my mind until I saw Vom talk about it.

      For the concept of Queen, what bother me is the word queen in itself, I mean a guy see monster girls, and then a big monster girl, he would call her big monster girl, not queen, seeing Oak as a queen mean that she would rule over the plants Mogi, if that's so, then she could ask her subject to stop attacking him, unless for some reason she can't communicate with them anymore, but then it would be interesting she say something about it, but here, I think it's another debate I and don't know enough of the story for that ^^, so it's just that a guy, that like me know nothing about the MoGi, would not call them queen, but instead big monster girl, unless it's some kind of joke like he say there is a king size MoGi, but since it's a female, let's call her Queen size MoGi, Queen for the shortie ^^, so yeah it bother me he call them queen before he has meet some of them or have read somehting about it or talked to someone about it.

      As for MoGi, yeah it would be nice to at least mention it, because, it's like if I ask people what they think about Pocket Monster, they won't understand what I talk about until I say Pokemon, I think it's the same case here :)

      Again, I just point stuff to help, since I don't know the full story, I don't know what you have planed yet, I know you guys have changed a lot of stuff since the original planing so maybe there are stuff that don't match anymore, I hope you see it like a positive critic and not a complain

    Idk how you guys work the whole mobs in MoGi but one thing I've seen is less of the MoGi that were first introduced... Like after Oak I noticed seeing less and less of Amanita and even less of Toadstool.. Not that I like having apples thrown in my face XD... but is that what happens when you progress further into the game? The mobs switch over for new additions and balance out with MoGi you've already encountered?

    1. You saw Pumpkin in the Docks and Farms because that's where her pods landed. She'll also appear later on, but we're creating mobs just on how we feel like at the moment.

      We'll most likely go back once we have more of the game finished and really redo that.

    2. If you consider difficulty, less of Amanita and Toadstool with Neko and squirrel in the fray is a good thing since it is difficult to time aerial approaches when dodging projectiles. Also, better to have enemies who stay in some areas more than others, it gives areas themes and makes the enemies seem like they have preferences for certain terrain over others.

  13. Can you, instead of having a folder with all the old versions in the dropbox, just a text file with a link to a different dropbox with all the old versions of the game? Right now I'm always downloading the folder with the old versions aswell, even if I don't want to.

  15. Getting stuck on corners of boxes is fixed.. but now this update introduced a new bug. It crashes whenever a rape scene plays and this is not a highend compuer i'm running windows 7. :(

  16. Is there a way to skip the starting content? Every time I download a new beta my progress gets deleted and I need to start over from scratch, it is really frustrating

    5. Cool beans :P, and I just had a thought;

      If Voms get upgrades for his wrench... By that logic will that mean that Rudy, Ucogi etc. Will get upgrades for their weapons as well?

      I had a few pointers on those abilities :D, like Rudy can crouch low and fire a laser both left and right together once. Ucogi can do like a spinning broom move... That's all I got for now lawl... and on a different note hope you guys had a good Christmas I forgot to tell lol

    6. Rudys upgrades would be her transformations to mogi. Ninja and Vor wont have any upgrades for sure. Ucogi Alice and Chibi may have upgrades in the form of new moves but they may also have these moves from the start.

    1. I think it must be en error, if you look at the image, she was supposed to release poison, I guess there was a mistake and she still use an apple instead of poison, my guess is that's going to be corrected in the days to come.

  22. I've gotten to the city so far in this version, and I must say I do notice the changes. However I have encountered a few bugs so far. The Oak fight seems to be broken when trying to play it as Rudy, since Oak is not damaged by the ranged attack until she uses her melee attack. But then her tree bush (arm?) disappears and it gets bugged until turning back into Voms to melee her. Also, her companion behind her turns into a standard amanita skin when hit with ranged attacks.

    Also, just before getting the that boss in the caves with the Nekos. In the pushcart sequence it is possible still to get stuck on the cart whilst trying to climb down (the ceiling clips Voms head and he cannot move) if misjudged the distance. The only way out of this is to use Rudy's roll.

    Another bug is in the hospital, where the lady is doing her laundry. I activated the lift to go up, but (as a habit) I realised I didn't speak to her so I jumped off early to do so and the lift is stuck in the up position and refuses to come down. This one requires to exit to menu in order to fix.

    I will be sure to come back with any other bugs I find, but everything else so far is looking great. I am very pleased to be able to help with this project, and am looking forward to further releases. Good Job guys :)

      I'll look into all those other glitches as well, though the elevator actually surprises me. It's pretty well done if I do say so myself. It comes down automatically unless there's something under it, thought it could be a labeling issue on my part XD.

    3. On completion of the beta I cannot say I found anymore bugs other than a slight issue with some of the lifts in the city. I cannot remember exactly which buildings they were, but after going up there was a clip issue and Voms was not able to walk smoothly off. Minor bug, but it's there. Once again, good job - happy with the beta and looking forwards to fixes and next release!

    -Hospital backdoor doesn't work. You can come back through it, but you can't leave the hospital through it.
    -One of the city lifts still has that glitch where you can't walk off of it to the left. First building on the left after you arrive, I think.
    -Voms has met other slimes before the big red one, they've been in hostage rapes. His comment about never seeing any other slimes doesn't make sense.
    -Neko's rape scene still gets stuck shortly after the cumshot.

      It's not like making the loop is impossible, I'd just have to add a bunch of really annoying exceptions to the rules I have in place.

    1. Stone was pledged to have anal,so that was the pledger's choice. Gold was a bonus/extra addition, based on Stone, that wasnt supposed to be in the game. Consider her a gift from Team Erogi!

  36. Just a quick question regarding Dedu's role in the game: Will he be in a hostage rape situation just like any other hostages?

    On a side note: How is Dedu's name "dude" backwards? If you spell "dude" backwards, you end up getting "edud". I remember this in one of the endings for SuckerSuck! where he explains the origin of his name.

    1. Dedu will have a small side story but we dont plan to have him animated and have sex. Of course that might change because we tend to add stuff.

      His name is syllable-based backwards. De-du, du-de. And actually Dedu's name has another meaning... I was to make a game where Rudy and Dedu work as detective and lawyer to save Ucogi. So, Dedu also derives from deduction. That story would show how the 3 charactets meet eachother for the first time.

    1. Well I contacted OB to give us a csv of all the people who donated. They've been pretty cooperative when I was working with them so I think they'll be able to help.

      Otherwise, I used to get e-mails from them regarding everything. I never deleted any of them, so I do have some record of OB's transactions.

      If you want to take a screenshot though just in case, I wouldn't recommend against it.

    1. I think we've made good progress :(, but we do need to kick it into high gear. It's been more of a challenge than we originally expected in many different ways.

      "Sad?" We never mentioned the game would have a sad story. We just said that things will move for multiple people. Right now, Voms is getting into some shit. He's met 2 queens, and one has expectations of him. He's also been given the responsibility of securing the island's future by communicating with the outside world.

      Tremmors and his involvement will be with the other characters, but Voms is MoGi centric.

      The game is not abandoned at all, we do keep working on it as much as possible. What gave you the idea that it's a dead project? We do update once every couple of months lately. The last update was a big one and we do add non-pledged MoGi making the project even larger!

    1. the lifts dont work properly due to power mulfunctions around the island. They are designed to be like that.

      There is no other way to get to the tunnels. You need to go through the city first.

      The city is one big riddle to solve if you want to go further in the game.

  48. Just started playing this. The part where you push the tractor into the water then have to jump on his has angered me like no else. How am I meant to make the jump? I've done the opening section so many times and I give up. Making water an instant game over was a stupid idea...
