Living with Veins for a month!

Yup, it's been a month since Titan went to Veins' house. What's done so far?

We released a good beta during the first week. After that we designed the Labs (new levels with a lot of new art, riddles and hazards), corrected most glitches in a 100 pages document that we were collecting for years, we remade the map system, updated the parallax, programmed all normal MoGi and we polished a few things, such as Voms jump (you have more control now).

The new levels can show that the game starts getting serious!

The last few days, Titan is programming Ucogi and Veins is animating her. For the first time we are working on the same thing side by side! Ucogi needs to be as perfect as possible. This is her WIP so far.

As crazy as research can go, we made an Ucogi skin for Kilik from Soulcalibur 6. Ucogi indeed has similar moves to Kilik, and it's fun to see her in 3D!

  1. I'm stuck trying to get to the Tower in the latest beta. I found a Level 1 door by these water tanks that doesn't do anything when the wrench is used and turns red again when leaving the area.

    1. You must have took the path after SlimeGirl Red. That path would be closed in the final release because it misguides you. Red is supposed to be accessed later in the game, but we added her because... content!

That Lve1 door wont open because you can't charge the lv1 orb. It is poorly explained by that NPC for now, but you need to find the reactor room and turn on the power. Then return to the tower. Use the map.

We just designed a new map system where some NPCs point out on the map where you are suppose to go. It will take a while before that release though but it's an upgrade to the current map system.

  3. Are you guys managing the drop box? Mine is almost full I only have the trial version of it, will you remove the old versions before it goes over the Drop Box Trial limit so I don't have to buy 1 TB of drop box space if I don't want? I am running out of anime gril space.

    1. That does seem like an issue. We'll delete the "old" folder.
